DVD Wishes
As you may have noted, we've been buying a lot of TV on DVD for the last little while, and we're not done yet. I have my eyes on the cancelled-before-its-time Wonderfalls set due out in December. In honour of that release, these are the other cruelly cancelled shows that I'd love to own on DVD:
- Cupid with Jeremy Piven & Paula Marshall. I still haven't recovered from the untimely demise of this great show about a matchmaking loon who believes he's the exiled God of Love.
- John Doe. This a fun puzzling cross of X-Files, CSI, and MacGyver, with a strong cast and a definite sense of direction. The lead actor managed to convey the character's surprise at his own preposterous abilities.
- Clone High. This MTV cartoon is simply so wrong it's right. Clones of famous people raised in a secret military high school project by a deranged scientist and his cardigan-wearing robot vice-principal? JFK as a BMOC? Joan of Arc as an artsy Goth chick? Ghandi as a lower-case G? What's not to love?
- Greg the Bunny. Muppets as real people. Real bad, real funny people.
- Andy Richter Controls the Universe. The fantasy sequences were the strength of the show, and the cast really clicked on the comedy. Plus, I'm a fan of Paget Brewster, so the show had everything.

How could you leave out Auqua Teen Hunger Force!
Thrill to the superhero adventures of a meatball, milkshake and an order of french fries.
Number one in the hood G.
But...they already have DVD sets! For those who just can't get enough for the Foreigner belt...cold as ice, man.
If you get Greg the Bunny, can we borrow it? (yeah, yeah, Laurel Canyon, g'head, mock me. But when Ben gets a sibling, I'm gonna call you and lauuuuuuuugh).
