If It Ain't the OED, It Ain't Nuttin'

You're The Dictionary!

by Merriam-Webster

You're one of those know-it-all types, with an amazing amount of knowledge at your command. People really enjoy spending time with you in very short spurts, but hanging out with you for a long time tends to bore them. When folks really need an authority to refer to, however, you're the one they seek. You're an exceptional speller and very well organized.

Well, I wouldn't have found the quiz if it weren't for you...don't blame me!

And yet, I do.

Funnily enough, if I say I feel young (as opposed to old) when I take the test, I end up as Lolita... glad I decided to try again. :D

Ok, I agree that you are up-to-date and usually clear and precise - but what's this about "over 60,000 entries"????

So I've learned a lot of things that people want to know and I'm willing to share...

Every single time I take this, I'm a book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Mostly it's 100 Years of Solitude, but sometimes it's Love in the Time of Cholera.

Weird.
