Okay, it's not quite that bad, but I've come up with quite a few obsolete technological bits while packing up my desk: an old Palm III, an electronic organizer, a 56k modem for Mac, a non-skip resistant portable CD player, a five-year old Nokia cellphone with charger and earpiece, and I'm sure there's more hiding behind the bookcases.
These items were once coveted, expensive dreams, then happy acquisitions, then indispensable tools and, finally, high-tech clutter. But they retain just enough value that I can't bring myself to throw them away.
Anybody want 'em?
