What We Do When We're Not Napping
In just one week, Ben has gone from standing up to pulling himself upright. His crib is one of his favourite places to practise.
And, as you can see from the movie, he's quite happy to be standing up by himself!

Dan and Libby took turns playing with Ben on Friday. It'll be good practise for them come December!

Fighting Nap-time 'til his last waking moment
Ben has been fighting his naps recently. He prefers to sit up in his crib and play until he's good and ready to sleep.
Sometimes, sleep catches him unprepared.

Pool Shark
Ben really enjoyed splashing around in his grandparents' pool. He's going to have a lot of fun there this summer!
Fix That Little Wagon
Grandma and Poppy couldn't wait until Ben's birthday to buy him his first little wagon. Ben seems to get a kick out of it, too.

Not Napping
When Ben's not napping in his crib, he's goofing around! He's been rolling a lot more this week.
Those Are Pearls That Were His Eyes
Great-Uncle Bill gave Ben a gift during a quick visit: a plastic clam shell with two bubble-blowing rubber pearls inside.
(Dina will never forgive the T.S. Eliot quote, but she already said "Boo Oyster Cult" was out of the question.)
